Peak Cavern Gorge Top Grotto

Description: As the name suggests this is high above Peak cavern. It is gained from Castle Buttress in Cave Dale. From CB go up to the col via a hanging fence. Skirt the barbed wire on the left. Drop downslope for 40m. The grotto is on the left. DO NOT GO ANY LOWER. TAKE EXTRA CARE NOT TO DISLODGE STONES. The above points are important as the grotto sits high above the path into Peak Cavern show cave and the slope is very steep.
