Welcome to peakbouldering.info, a site dedicated to Peak District bouldering
What can this site do for me?
That rather depends on what you're after - feel free to explore the site and make suggestions for improvements - but some of the more common uses are:
- Finding problems you haven't done using the search function, e.g. all grit aretes between 7a and 7c that aren't highball
- Discovering new problems at a crag (or indeed new crags) by browsing
- Sharing your new / newly discovered problem (again, or crag?) with other boulderers by adding it to the site
- Browsing the site whilst at the crag (on your shiny new internet enabled phone)
- Sharing your opinion on a problem by registering your ascent of it
- Getting beta for your project / intended weekend flash from the videos, photos and comments associated with the problem
- Getting psyched for your training / next session / next season by browsing
Why contribute?
The site is heavily reliant on contributions from users - without any contributions this would be an empty shell. Equally, if everyone contributes in terms of ascents registered, photos and videos uploaded, corrections made etc, the site will rapidly grow to become a very useful resource.
OK, so contribute how?
